
Address Changes If at any time during the season, or even during the off season, you have an address, phone, work, fax, or email change, please let us know. We want to make sure we have all of your correct account information at all times. Strollers For your safety, strollers are not permitted inside Ripken Stadium.
Alcohol Management Maryland law provides that you must be 21 years of age to purchase and/or consume alcoholic beverages. Upon request, each customer may be asked to present valid identification at the time of purchase. The Aberdeen IronBirds reserve the right to refuse service to any fan. Please drink responsibly. If you find yourself in need of transportation service, please go to the Fan Assistance booth so that alternate transportation can be arranged. Alcohol sales will cease with the first pitch of the top of the eighth (8th) inning.
Autographs Guests may seek autographs from players and coaches from the time the gates open until 15 minutes prior to game time. The autograph areas are located on the outer sides of both the home and visiting dugouts. Guests will not be allowed to seek autographs at the dugout corners closest to home plate. Please be courteous and respectful to the players and coaches as well as guests possessing tickets in autograph areas. If you are seeking autographs in a seating section other than your own, you may be asked to proceed to your designated seating section.
Banners Banners or signs of any kind representing any company, organization or group not an official sponsor of the Aberdeen IronBirds are not permitted anywhere in the ballpark.
Conduct While at Ripken Stadium we want everyone to have a great time every time they come out to the ballpark. Fans using loud, obscene, or abusive language or engaging in any other conduct detrimental to the social environment of enjoying a public event will be asked to cease their conduct, and may be subject to ejection from the stadium if the conduct is deemed overly offensive. No alcohol or illegal drugs may be brought into Ripken Stadium. Fans observed breaking local laws are subject to ejection from the stadium and criminal prosecution. For your safety and the safety of others, please refrain from throwing objects onto the playing field. Fans doing so are subject to ejection from the ballpark.
First Aid and Fan Assistance If you are in need of medical assistance or customer service, you can find help at the Fan Assistance booth located on the concourse behind section 201, just to the right as you first enter Ripken Stadium.
Foul Balls Please be alert for foul balls and any other “debris” that may come into the seating area from the playing field. All fans are subject to the possibility of being hit by a flying object from the field. Please keep any foul ball you catch as a souvenir of your night at Ripken Stadium.
Game Days Gates open 1 hour prior to game time. Thus, for a 7:05 p.m. game, the gates will open at 6:00 p.m.
Handicap Seating Ripken Stadium is equipped with handicap and companion seating throughout the entire ballpark. If you need any special assistance, please contact the Box Office so that we may accommodate your needs.
IronBirds Merchandise The Aberdeen IronBirds logo is one of the hottest new logos in all of professional sports. Fans all over are buying IronBirds hats, T-shirts, sweatshirts, baseballs, and other novelties in record numbers. The merchandise store, The Hangar, is located directly behind Section 203, just to the right as you enter Ripken Stadium.
IronBirds Radio Games will be broadcast live on WAMD 970 AM. All games will also be broadcast live on the Internet via our Website.
Lost and Found If you lose or find any items while at Ripken Stadium, please report to the Fan Assistance booth behind Section 201. Following a games, fans may also call the IronBirds main office, 410-297-9292, to inquire about lost or found items.
Lost or Stolen Tickets Please treat your tickets like cash and always keep them in a safe place. In the event that your tickets are stolen, please file a police report. Send us a copy of the report and we’ll issue replacements. The Aberdeen IronBirds can not be responsible for lost or stolen tickets.
No Chairs No patio or folding chairs of any kind may be brought into Ripken Stadium. Seat cushions and blankets are permitted.
Noisemakers For the comfort and enjoyment of our guests, noisemakers of any type (e.g., air horns, cow bells, etc.) are prohibited at Ripken Stadium.
No Outside Food or Beverages Are Allowed In accordance with NY-Penn League rules, fans are not allowed to enter Ripken Stadium with food, peanuts, beverages, or other containers such as book bags, picnic baskets, coolers, water bottles or ice chests. No bottles or cans of any kind are allowed. Ripken Stadium security reserves the right to inspect and confiscate any package or container coming into the ballpark. Purses and diaper bags are permitted but may be subject to a search.
Parking Parking at Ripken Stadium is free.
Peddling or Vending The peddling, vending, or distribution of merchandise or printed materials at Ripken Stadium is not allowed. The Aberdeen IronBirds must grant permission for these activities.
Phones and ATMs Public pay phones and Ripken Stadium automated teller machines (ATMs) are located on the concourse of the ballpark.
Radios, Cameras and Video Equipment Radios (if they are a small “Walkman” type of radio), cameras, and video recorders are permitted at Ripken Stadium. Fans may not reproduce or rebroadcast any film or videotape shot at Ripken Stadium for any commercial use without the permission of the Aberdeen IronBirds.
Rain Out Procedure A baseball game becomes an official game after 4 1/2 innings have been played (if the visiting team is behind) or five innings if the IronBirds are behind or the game is tied. In the event that an official game is not played, fans may exchange their tickets for tickets of equal or lesser value based upon availability. Rain Checks may also be redeemed by mailing them to the Aberdeen IronBirds Ticket Office, P.O. Box 1183, Aberdeen, MD 21001. Complimentary tickets may not be exchanged under any circumstances. If ticket is not exchanged for future game, ticket may be refunded by check for the stated value. For season and mini-plan accounts, checks will only be issued to account holder. Re-Entry to the Stadium Once you leave the stadium, you cannot re-enter. See smoking policy.
Restrooms Public restrooms are located on the concourse level behind sections 209 and 212, and are equipped to serve handicapped fans. All restrooms will come equipped with baby changing stations.
Scalping of Tickets Tickets must not be resold or offered for resale in a manner or at a price in violation of any Federal, State or Local law or regulation and cannot be resold on the grounds of Ripken Stadium. Scalpers will be escorted off of stadium grounds by the Aberdeen Police Department.
Smoking Policy Smoking is not permitted inside the stadium. See your usher for designated smoking areas outside of the ballpark. For re-entry, you must have your hand stamped prior to exiting the ballpark to the designated smoking area. No exceptions.
Ticket Policy for Children Everyone at Ripken Stadium has to have a ticket for entry into the park. Children three (3) years or under that are able to sit on your lap do not need a ticket.
Tailgating Tailgating is not permitted at Ripken Stadium.
Trespassing on the Field Anyone trespassing on the playing field will be ejected and subject to arrest and prosecution in accordance with local city and county law.
Umbrellas Umbrellas may be brought into the stadium, however, due to safety concerns they may not be opened in the seating area.
Weapons For the safety of all guests, weapons of any kind are not be permitted in Ripken Stadium. The only exception to this is law enforcement personnel in the performance of their official duties. The presenter of a game ticket consents to a reasonable search for weapons at any time. Failure to comply with the above conditions will result in no admittance or ejection. No refunds or exchanges will be allowed in such an event.
Will Call Window IronBirds’ will call and ticket sales windows are located directly in front of the box office on the outside of the stadium. Will call tickets will be available on the night of the game only and will call will open two (2) hours prior to the start of any home game. Persons picking up will call tickets are required to show photo identification.
